Together with KTEG GmbH, we developed a battery-powered 2 t electric excavator. The excavator developed by SUNCAR is equipped with long-lasting Li-ion batteries and produces no local emissions. Over the product’s entire service life, it generates significantly fewer emissions than comparable models with internal combustion engines. In addition, it is significantly quieter in operation.

Results
The ZECOM excavator (Zero Emission Construction Machinery) can be operated in both battery and cable mode. It features an on-board charger and can be charged in a very short time. The ZE19 requires only 1 h for a full charge. The runtime is 2.5 h.
