With the INSIGHT remote system, vehicles and machines are securely connected to the internet (IoT). The modular software packages enable customer-specific coverage of the required functionalities.
The INSIGHT Remote System gives you an overview of your vehicles and machines. The operating data and statuses can be checked efficiently and intuitively. The map view provides an overview of the current locations of your machines and vehicles. The connection via the mobile network enables live support for problem analysis, troubleshooting and over-the-air updates. This shortens the response time and replaces many on-site service calls.

The INSIGHT Remote System
Digitalization
The INSIGHT Telematics System is a modular, plug-and-play solution for remote maintenance, fast Over-The-Air (OTA) problem analysis and error detection as well as data logging. For this purpose, an extremely robust gateway with combined GPS and 4G mobile radio antenna is installed on the vehicle as a connectivity unit and connected to the vehicle's CAN bus. The vehicle is thus connected to the mobile network worldwide. Thanks to this newly created device connectivity, all parameters such as the current battery charge level or tank level, the temperature of various components, a precise GPS position and also the cumulative runtime can be conveniently read out in real time via an Internet browser. For this purpose, a clear web interface with a customer-specific appearance is available from where all data, which is securely stored on a Swiss server, can be accessed.
Vehicle data- live
In the event of vehicle faults, INSIGHT can contribute to greatly simplified and faster troubleshooting and enables effective support even remotely. In addition, warning or error messages can be triggered by email for any desired parameter, thus allowing rapid intervention. The cumulative operating hours can be used to better plan maintenance work, and the map view can also be used to quickly obtain an overview of all vehicles connected to the remote system. Remote maintenance is greatly simplified plus productivity and utilization are increased. With INSIGHT, every vehicle in the fleet can be modernized and networked, thus simplifying service planning and machine management. In addition to INSIGHT, SUNCAR also undertakes the software development of the entire vehicle control and user interface upon customer request and can therfore guarantee optimal integration of the telematics system.
