An ePTO makes it possible to operate auxiliary functions or equipment in a truck—traditionally driven by an internal combustion engine—electrically. In this case, together with Trösch AG Fahrzeugbau, we developed an electric power take-off for a fully electric Scania P230 B 6X2*4 NB. The ePTO can power the Trösch-typical Welaki (swap–load–tip) with lifting capacities of up to 19 tonnes, a hooklift system, or a plough for winter service.
