Together with KTEG GmbH, SUNCAR developed the ZE85 electric excavator, an 8-ton compact excavator.
The ZECOM (Zero Emission Construction Machinery) excavator can be operated in both battery and cable mode. It features an onboard charger and can be charged in a very short time. The ZE85 requires only 2 hours for a full charge. A fast-charging option is also available, reducing the charging time to 45 minutes. The ZE85 has an operating time of 4 hours. Thanks to the long operating times and short charging times, the ZECOM excavators can be optimally used throughout the entire workday.
The excavators developed by SUNCAR are equipped with long-lasting Li-ion batteries and produce no local emissions. Over their entire product life cycle, they cause significantly fewer emissions than the underlying internal combustion engine models. Furthermore, they operate much more quietly.
