Last week, we proudly completed four more 7-ton electric excavators. As our e-excavator fleet, which now comprises around 30 excavators, is continuously on loan, our parent company Huppenkothen has added four more e-excavators to its portfolio.
The practical medium dimensions, with a width of 2 m and a height of 2.5 m, and an operating weight of 6.8 t, make the TB260, the original diesel-engine model, Huppenkothen's best-selling excavator. The electric equivalent, the new handy yet powerful TB260E, is particularly suitable for indoor applications. An electric excavator is doubly useful indoors, where the absence of emissions such as nitrogen oxides and particulate matter, as well as the low noise level compared to a diesel excavator, are particularly appreciated.
The excavators have been assembled in recent weeks partly at Technopark Zurich (battery container) and partly at our site in Oberbüren. Now they are ready for rental or sale. We are looking forward to exciting construction site projects with the new electric excavators and will report!
