Fast charging solutions for maritime applications

SUNCAR Seabird Technologies

Successful collaboration and technological milestones for innovative fast-charging solutions at an international level!
This year, we were able to successfully apply our expertise in the field of fast-charging technology in exciting projects as well as in the further development of our products. One highlight is certainly our collaboration with the E1 boat manufacturer Seabird Technologies, for whom we initially supplied a fast charging interface as a proof of concept. Following convincing test results, we developed customised solutions that are specifically tailored to the requirements of all-electric foil racing boats. These robust and multifunctional interfaces are ideal for demanding marine applications. Thanks to close collaboration on site and intensive dialogue with all parties involved, we were able to ensure that our products are seamlessly integrated and reliable in operation.
At the same time, we have made significant progress in the further development of our fast charging interfaces. Our Charge Control L charging controller from chargebyte GmbH, which is compatible with our INTERFLOW500 and INTERFUSION800M DC fast charging interfaces, is now also available with the GB/T charging standard (AC and DC). This makes it possible to map another charging protocol in addition to CCS with the same hardware by simply changing the parameters, thereby opening up new markets.
Another milestone was the successful completion of the environmental tests for the INTERFLOW interfaces. These tests were an important step on the way to series production, which is about to start. By passing the tests and extending the charging standard, our products are setting new standards in quality and sustainability - and thus contributing to a more environmentally friendly future.
We are proud to be part of such innovative projects and look forward to tackling more exciting challenges around the world!
